Looking to entertain the children this May half term? Let them explore the city’s most historic site, Oxford Castle and Prison. Throughout half term week the 1,000 year old castle, which is open for exploration and guided tours, is putting on Mosaic Making sessions for children. The hour long activity, which will include a chance to practice the art of excavation as well as the opportunity to create a mosaic tile to take home, is the ideal event to ignite children’s interest in history. Priced from £9.50, the Mosaic Making sessions run from 12 until 1pm every day during half term week (27th – 31st May) and adults can attend for free.
