Plan your autumn day out
Embracing the season at Oxford Castle Quarter
It's back to school time and change is in the air, but there's still so much fun to be had this month! Spend a September day discovering all that Oxford Castle Quarter has to offer - history, fantastic food and plenty of adventure.
Explore the castle
Climb the tower, brave the candlelit crypt and peek inside the 18th century prison cells - there's so much to see at Oxford Castle & Prison! Take an award-winning guided tour to learn all about the castle's past, or embrace spooky season with a Spectre Ghost Tour. And of course there are amazing panoramic city views from the top of St. George's Tower.
This month: See the city's iconic buildings bathed in golden autumn light on an Oxford History Walk. In 90 minutes you'll take in the most famous sights (with plenty of photos ops) and brush up on their history, from medieval times to modern day.

Pause at Prezzo
Time for refreshments? Call into Prezzo for a coffee (no-one does it quite like the Italians), or sit down to lunch. For autumn they're serving up comforting oven-baked dishes and seasonal flavours. How about sharing their new Beef Ragu Arancini? Prezzo's smaller Pizzettas served with salad are a perfect lunch-sized bite, and there's a kids menu, too, that little tummies will love!
This month: Indulge in a coffee and a dessert for just £7.95. It's the perfect excuse to sample Prezzo's new Sicilian Lemon Meringue Pie or Biscoff Cheesecake. This offer is available daily from open until 4pm.

Mark a memorable moment
If you're celebrating something special this month, Malmaison's Chez Mal Brasserie is an elegant spot for Sunday lunch with the family, an exceptional afternoon tea, or superb dishes from the a la carte menu. We have it on good authority that the Black Angus steak is divine. You can even dine outside on the beautiful terrace when the sun's shining.

Make a night of it
How about stopping over? Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of historical Oxford with a stay at Malmaison. This dramatic former prison building is now a boutique hotel, complete with a top notch brasserie. You can enjoy a comfortable stay in one-of-a-kind surroundings, and dine inside or out at Chez Mal.
