Looking to entertain the children this summer holiday? Let them play the clown and indulge in a circus skills crash course of juggling, unicycling and plate spinning in the centre of Oxford this summer – for free!
Oxford Castle Quarter, the city’s unique, historic site, will be hosting two Circus Skills Workshop days this August, on Thursday 9th and Thursday 30th from 11am until 2pm. A haven from the hustle and bustle of the City, the Circus Skills Workshop days will take place in Oxford Castle Quarter’s enclosed old prison exercise yard.
While adults unwind on one of the provided for deck chairs or picnic blankets with a freshly brewed coffee from The Castleyard Café the children will be regaled with circus skills by entertainers from Flying Colours, one of the UK’s premier circus and street performing companies.
Following the event why not treat your little circus extraordinaire to a bite in one of the nearby restaurants? From the convivial Prezzo or Pizza Express, to the Castleyard Café for sandwiches and cake, or even the Malmaison Hotel for Afternoon Tea!
